Update Your Mailing List To Increase Donations To Your Cause

You are developing the database for the non-profit organization that you work for. Your mailing list is outdated and you are tasked to update the list, confirm contact numbers, and complete all data. After the last strategic meeting, it was agreed that the organization’s various projects will benefit from increased donations if you knocked on doors, called on listed phone numbers, and sent mass email to all your supporters. With all the humanitarian causes that corporations and individuals can champion, your group is pressed to compete for funding especially during trying times like these. The en masse call for support is an answer to the dwindling funds of the recent years. As more and more of the huge donations you received in the past have been siphoned by other organizations, your group has been feeling the crunch severely. Some projects have been put on hold while others have been scrapped completely due to lack of funding. You hope that this concerted effort will work so that the people who depend on the projects will have more hope and opportunity to get back on their feet.
Raising funds is a herculean task. When you signed up for work in the non-profit sector, you knew that you are working for a good cause and you were riding high on your beliefs to change the world. Handling telemarketing lists is part and parcel of your job. Dropped calls and repeatedly being rejected are bitter pills to swallow. However, anything worth doing is never easy. Doing your job means the world to other people and you will continue to do so to make the world a better place.
